Slobodan Petrovic of the Independent Liberal Party, Nenad Rasiq from the Democratic Progressive Party and Rada Trajkovic from the European Serb Movement, have informed the ambassador of recent developments in politics and the state of Kosovo Serbs, Klen Kosova reports.
The Finland Embassy in Kosovo has also announced this meeting through a Facebook post:
To discuss recent political development and upcoming elections, Ambassador Pia Sterenvall met with some of Kosovo's Serb political leaders. Co-ordinator Slobodan Petrovic of the Independent Liberal Party, Nenad Rasiq from the Democratic Progressive Party and Rada Trajkovic from the European Movement informed the ambassador of their thoughts about recent developments, preparations for the Serb community's elections and challenges in Kosovo.
All have agreed that a country cannot really be democratic until its citizens have the opportunity to choose their representatives through free and fair elections. The Finland Embassy expects all political parties to encourage and appeal for the democratic election process and condemns any kind of threat or pressure against Kosovo voters.
