The head of the Independent Railways Trade Union has announced that on Thursday, by 05 o'clock, the flow of all trains in the country, including freight trains and travelers will be banned.

That decision, according to the Union, was taken after the arrest of the Pristina Peja relief train conductor during yesterday by Kosovo Police after the accident, where a minor in Kline was killed.

According to this Union, the Law on Kosovo Railways has not been respected with the arrest of the conductor, as well as regulations and other administrative guidelines. They call on the Government of Kosovo, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to make their colleague's release as quickly as possible and to begin to respect the Law on Kosovo Railways.
