Tahiri: Yesterday I extradited a wanted man from Germany

Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has declared that the extradition of a person suspected of serious murder has been successful in Germany. What stands out is the interesting wording that was done in the Justice Ministry statement, where Tahiri was quoted in the first person, saying that I extradited “and extradited” one [...]
I have extradited a person declared in an international search by German authority, as suspected of committing a serious murder offense”, Tahiri said.
Tahiri has said that since becoming a minister has eliminated the legal gaps the suspects have used to evade justice.
With the mandate to take over as justice minister I've taken care to immediately eliminate legal gaps and demonstrate commitment to place each suspected person in charge. We have thus managed to make Kosovo an uncertain place for criminals; and a model place for the region in fighting transnational crime”, the minister has said.
Tahiri has indicated that only in 2019 have 18 persons extradited from Kosovo to other states.
Thanks to the work we have done as minister on the level of international judicial co-operation, only this year we have managed to achieve 18 extraditions from Kosovo to other states”, Tahiri has said.
The justice minister has declared that he will not allow Kosovo to be the refuge of criminals.
