Police arrest two people for eight cases of armed robbery in Gjakova

The Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova, the Regional Sector for Investigation by this director, police authorisation, and authorisation of the state prosecutor today, has carried out a search and raid at three locations with which he has arrested two people suspected of armed robbery.

In the area of responsibility of the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova since May of this year, eight armed robberies have occurred mainly in the deveries pumps, and since then regional investigators have been doing intensively in identifying the perpetrators of these works and lighting cases in question.

During (submissions) checks of residential facilities and other escorting facilities of suspected people today in quality of material evidence have been seized weapons and other evidence that will serve for the full enlightenment of these cases as well as the possible interconnection of them on other occasions:

TT-type gun with a clip and seven bullets

A metal rod

Suspected Substance as Narcotics as well as other narcotics-use surveillance devices

Masks, gloves, and different clothes

Various Car Targets

Two Mobile Phones

M. 1990 / Albanian nativity, Kosovo citizen

After completing the police procedures, the suspected persons with the recommendation of the state prosecutor are sent to the detention centre for 48 hours.
