The Kosovo Foreign Ministry has reacted to Serbian Minister Ivica Dacic's statements that Togo has drawn recognition of the Republic of Kosovo.
MPJ says all the diplomatic marks shown in Belgrade are written by a single person with a criminal record.
MPJ says Kosovo has faced in the last three years with an unprecedented diplomatic and propaganda campaign from Serbia with the support of Russia and other countries to prevent Kosovo's integration into the international community.
Kosovo, in co-ordination with Quint countries, has rejected this campaign and in close co-ordination with the Quint states has taken steps internationally. Serbia has used every means to undermine Kosovo internationally. We have expressed concern that they have used bribes, close to corrupts, arms sales and agreements on abolishing visas and non-moral ties (such as INTERPOL's case) to oppose Kosovo”, the MPJ response said.
MPJ emphasises that Serbia has invited foreign officials to Belgrade to visit without taking into account their legitimacy and that, through bribes, <x0) diplomatic” and false documents that have been dropped by their respective countries then.
“Like the case of Liberia (before Liberian TV, the president of Liberia and releases communicates), Ghana, Guinea-Bissau (recognition of Kosovo Ambassador), Burkina Fassos (sent to Belgrade), the Central African Republic (are developing investigations about corruptives), Sao Tome and Principe (high-level meetings that deny Dachiqiqiqi's statement, and other countries such as Papua Guinea, Guinea, Somalia, the Communists, the Commies, Burunds, the Burmund<>
MPJ cites that international organisations like Amnesty International have expressed their concern over selling Serbia's weapons to Africa.
“in many countries this has been used as a means to strengthen its home propaganda for Ivica Dacic”, said further in the MPJ response.
The Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs says all diplomatic notes shown in Belgrade, which have been rejected by governments through diplomatic or publicly, are written by a single person who is known for his criminal past and links with organised crime networks outside Europe and who now serves as adviser to Serbian Foreign Minister.
Kosovo has co-operation with its partners and has shown willingness to normalise relations with Serbia through the EU facilitated dialogue, and we have been aiming not to take actions that would equal Kosovo with Serbia. Kosovo has remained committed to the principle of foreign policy for good neighbourly relations and regional co-operation, but to achieve this, concrete action is needed even from Belgrade, which has not been the case. Kosovo is ready to act as a constructive neighbour, but Serbia is installing a climate that does not create room for normalising relations”, the MPJ has concluded.
