(7 years ago)The Peja Court has approved this city's prosecution's request for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees A.Z., who is suspected of the knife attack by a policeman in Pec. “With the date 20.08.2019, around 11:55, in Pec, deliberately eventually attempted to deprive the Kosovo Police Officer of life. [...]
“With the date 20.08.2019, around 11:55 in Pec, the event has deliberately attempted to deprive the Kosovo Police officer of his life, so without any warning he approaches the injured and stabs him to the front of his chest, with what injury he manages to avoid but gets injuries to the right side of the apartment. The same day, after raiding the defendant's residence, the same is in possession of suspected substance of the type “Marihua”, in weight of 2.8 grams”.
The defendant's actions are suspected of committing criminal acts of serious attempted murder and unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotrope or analog.
Defendant A.Z. a month-long detention measure has been scheduled.
Against this decision the dissatisfied side has the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals.
