Minister Tahiri: Returning citizens from Syria made us a global reference against terrorism

Tahiri has written that this decision has been the most difficult one to make, but was determined to bring back children and victims of manipulation from conflict zones.

“Make the most difficult decisions and the most sensitive work I've done during this mandate as justice minister, has been the decision to restore our citizens found in the war zones in Syria. I have been determined that the name of the Republic of Kosovo is not a reference to any activity related to terrorism, and also very determined that children and victims of manipulation do not remain in conflict areas” wrote Tahiri.

Among other things, in his status, Tahiri has written that he is proud that his commitment has taken credentials from even the highest officials of the US administration.

“Today, suspects are facing justice and face it, while children in rehabilitation and have begun a new life. The Republic of Kosovo has thus shown full devotion to the rule and law, but also to its citizens. I am proud that thanks to this commitment, today our Republic is a global reference against terrorism and a global reference to the social regeneration of the victims of this phenomenon. This commitment has already received its credentials even from Washington, and top officials of the United States of America” wrote Tahiri.
