Present LDK meeting background: Mustafa chairman, Haziri prime minister, Veliu first deputy chairman

A handshake between Isa Mustafa, Lutfi Haziri and Agim Veliu has singled out today's meeting of the Democratic League of Kosovo leadership.

The move was understood as a new <x0m white” or pact within the Democratic League that paves the way for selecting new bodies for the Assembly, expected to be organised tomorrow at the Emerald Hotel in Pristina, Klan Kosova reports.

The political agreement means that the two contenders for party chairman, Agim Veliu and Lutfi Haziri, accept Isa Mustaf as the consensus candidate for remaining at the helm of the LDK again.

The handshake took place after the chief in office confirmed that he is interested in remaining in this position. Klan Kosova learns Mustafa has stated the news before the narrow leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo. He told his party subordinates that he is doing this because of the insistence of headship and not his will.

An agreement on this, that is, for a consensual candidate, has demanded most of the leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo, as was reported the day before.

After the agreement, without any objections, delegates have been invited to be equipped with bejats, which they will participate in the LDK's 9th Parliament.

The LDK's narrow headship provides that the accord is not presented until the moment the candidacy formalisation, which according to the statute, is envisioned to be in the Assembly.

It is not known if there will be another candidacy by tomorrow.

But Fatmir Sejdiu, who is not part of the consensus agreement, has confirmed that he will try to take the lead once more.

But the Clan learns that the political agreement reached in principle, which is expected to be sealed tomorrow, implies duty divisions and positions for top LDK officials.

The undisputed winner of competitions in Gjilan and Kosovo's staunch regional-level politician, Lutfi Haziri, will be offered the prime minister's nominated position, if the LDK belongs to this position, in future political developments, as Agim Veliu, the record of victories in Podujevo, is expected to be nominated in the position of the first LDK deputy chairman, this position Veliu confirms power within the LDK.

As the clan teaches, Haziri and Veliu have not yet confirmed that they accept what they have been offered.

The agreement also envisions the nomination of the secretary or secretary general of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

The deal achieved principledly includes the position of other deputy speakers, where the election outcome and the inclusion of more Kosovo regions will be taken into account.
