After too long waiting, The PDK has submitted the name of this party's member to the CEC, while the second country must split between the AAK and the Initiative.
After Parliamentary Elections, Coalition PDK-AAK-Nisma (PAN) was the winner, but in the Central Election Commission, only two countries met. But the three parties claimed to have their members because in the Assembly they acted as independent parliamentary groups. President Thaci had sought clarification from the Constitutional Court if The PAN will be represented in the CEC as a single subject, or a separate party. After the interpretation of the Constitution, PAN could only be represented by two members. So far, the CEC has worked without representatives of office, since they had sent no president names.
Now The PDK will have its own representative. With the PDK leader's proposal, Kadri Wessel in the CEC has been accredited by Ilir Gashi, who has previously been a member of the CEC by the PDK.
Gashi's Facebook mailing:
Honor and privilege, Mr. Chairman's proposal. Kadri Wessel, I took the oath as a member of the CEC, before the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaci! I swear!
