IKD expands report closing public court sessions

The IKD during the process of systematic monitoring court hearings in the criminal field says it has recorded cases of illegal and arbitrary closures of certain judicial hearings, information that is important to the public, media and civil society.
The report outlines illegal practices of closing court hearings in the field by judges in order to serve as bad practices to raise awareness in the judicial system to be transparent in line with constitutional and legal obligations”, the report said.
Kosovo Institute for Justice researchers Betim Musliu, Justina Frokaj and Guzim Shala will be presented at the conference.
