Hehn order to continue dialogue: Serbia halts campaign against recognition of Kosovo

European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn has ordered from Helsinki for continuing dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, saying it is very important for the European perspective of the entire Western Balkan region.

“It is essential that Kosovo remove the” tax, Hahn said from Helsinki, where the meeting of EU and Western Balkan Foreign Affairs Ministers is under way.

“The solution, the positive course of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, is the key element for the future of the European perspective of the entire region”, he added.

Hahn reiterated his call for the removal of the tax on Serbian goods in Kosovo.

But, he also urged Serbia to stop the campaign to withdraw recognitions of Kosovo's independence.
