I think we can handle this situation. Great Britain is a wonderful place. We can easily face a scenario without agreement”, Johnson said in France at his debut on the international political scene as prime minister.
He added that preparations have been stepped up in the case of possible separation from the European Union without agreement, saying: “we would do so if we are obliged to leave without agreement due to the stubbornness of our European friends”.
Johnson has previously demanded that a new agreement be drafted with the European Union in order to secure enough votes in the British Assembly. However, he has not ruled out the possibility of removing Britain from the EU without agreement, writes the Guardian”.
