Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has said that during the meeting with the American congressionalwoman, Eliot Engel has talked about the importance of continuing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
The head of the Serbian state has suggested that Engel, who is a great friend of Albanians, has told him that this is very important not only for good relations between Serbs and Albanians but also for the stability of the entire region.
“I hope his messages in Pristina will contribute to accelerated creation of conditions for continuing dialogue. Is that realistic? We'll see. But once we continue the dialogue, it will be possible to reduce tension, “said Vuciq.
Serbia's number one also said Engel has told “to be a great friend of Albanians does not mean that he does not want to be a friend of Serbs”.
Vuciq announced that he has also spoken with the American case of the Bytyqi brothers and the NATO bombings, broadcasting the Kosovo Clan.
