This rejection decision is valid until the end of the criminal procedure, while these veterans are continuing to receive pensions every month.
In January, 38 thousand and 232 veterans have benefited 6m and 518 thousand and 959 euros.
The payments have continued throughout the following months.
Musa Demiri, from the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, has told the news.net that in the first six months of 2019, veterans have spent 38m and 435 thousand and 385 euros from the state budget.
It appears that the amount divided for this category has been changed every month, but the reasons are unknown.
This year alone, over 57m euros are planned to be earmarked for this category, which is expected to be exceeded by the trend of monthly spending.
We remember that in September last year, an indictment was filed against the 12 members of the Government Commission for recognition and verification of the status of KLA war veterans, under suspicion of blowing the lists.
