Thaci refuses attending the SEECP summit in Sarajevo: Kosovo cannot be humiliated

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, through a post in his Facebook account has announced that Kosovo will not be a participant in the Southeast Europe's Summit of Process and Co-operation (SEECP), as a result of the deignive invitation of the current chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's leadership. He argued that Kosovo has always been [...]
He argued that Kosovo has always been ready for good neighbourly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that will has been constantly misused by the latter.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's behaviour, President Thaci has described how not acceptable as its representatives apply completely anti-European practices.
Below, find the full post of President Thaci:
Despite the will and willingness to participate in the Summit for the Co-operation Process in Southeast Europe (SEECP), the deignive invitation of the current chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's leadership made Kosovo's participation and representation at this meeting impossible.
Kosovo has always been and is ready for good neighbourly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and for mutual recognition. But, unfortunately, our will has been repeatedly misused, just as it is now in the case of the SEECP organisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The minimum Kosovo requires for participation in such forums is equal treatment with other participating states.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's behaviour is unacceptable and paradoxical, since its representatives apply completely anti-European practices that do not distinguish with those of Serbia. With such a destructive approach, regional co-operation and good neighbourly co-operation among Western Balkan states remains an elusive precondition on the road to EU membership.
The Republic of Kosovo remains committed to good neighbourly relations, regional and Euro-Atlantic co-operation, but refuses to be subject and discriminated against by anyone. HTH
