Strong ties with Albanians candidate for director of US National Intelligence

Following Dan Coats' resignation, US President Donald Trump has nominated the former Congressman, John Ratcliffe, for the post of director of National Intelligence. 53-year-old Ratcliffe is known as loyal to President Trump, and he has described him as a highly respected former prosecutor. But interesting is the fact that John Ratcliffe has strong ties with the Albanian community in the United States and is known as supporter of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo and the Albanian issue in the Balkans.
In 2016, Ratcliffe participated in the International Economic Forum of the Albanian Diaspore, where she also delivered a speech.
At other meetings, John Ratcliffe appears on the side of Pandeli Majko, minister for Diaspora, and Fatmir Mediu, former defence minister.
It currently serves on the Intelligence Committee, the Committee for Internal Security and the U.S. Congress Judiciary Committee. To be appointed to head National Intelligence, Ratcliffe's candidacy must be approved by the US Senate. /tch/
