According to the Kosovo Police, two Bosnian nationals ran the van, with Serbian citizenship. The case was opened as the banned <x0gt>x1>.
“Reported that the police unit has detained two Bosniak national suspects from Serbia, who with one nation transported about 600kg of tomatoes without lead documentation. At the prosecutor's decision in the case is initiated in regular procedure”, Kosovo Police have announced.
News has also been broadcast in Serbian media. KoSSev reports the arrest of two Serbian citizens with 600kg of tomatoes without lead documentation until the same was broadcast by FoNet news agency.
Middle of this month, in the north was talked about a “humanitarian crisis”, following the 100 per cent tax Kosovo has imposed on goods coming in from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kosovo institutions denied that there is a crisis of lack of food and hygiene items in the north, accusing Serbia of playing and insisting on a peace crisis.
