Daci today celebrates her 75th birthday, and members of the Academy over this age cannot exercise leadership positions at the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The decision that Daci no longer exercise the mayor's office was taken by the legal and statuteial, legal and legitimate ASHAK bodies on 11 June this year.
A SHAK announced that until the election of the new chairman, Jusuf Bajraktari exercises this post.
Nexhat Daci was elected chairman of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts on 21 December 2017 in the regular elections.
