4 July marks the day of the United States' declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776, when 13 colonies of that time declared their independence and freedom from the British government.
The US Declaration of Independence is one of the most important political documents in the world, defining the fate and framework for survival and growth of this country, but there is also a document that inspired the same movement for independence, on the part of the world.
The Declaration of Independence of America marked the secession of colonies from Great Britain 243 years ago, but it was only the beginning of the establishment of freedom in this country, since slavery was practiced in many colonies, women did not enjoy all the rights called for in the Declaration of Independence, and unfortunately local Indian-Americans were forced to move from their own land, while the new settlers had begun settling on their sides.
But since the signing of this dramatic act over two centuries, efforts in the United States to ensure equality and equal rights for all have triumphed with many victories over the past decades, yet there is much awareness that there is much left to be done and that preserving these rights that God and nature have forgiven requires constant vigilance to preserve them, especially from government interventions that are responsible for protecting and not destroying new freedoms and the rights of the people. /Kosovo pres/
