MPs from the ruling coalition have commented on statements by President Donald Trump's adviser, who has met with Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister, Ivica Dacic.
Bolton through a Twitter post has written that with Daciqi they have agreed that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should move forward.
MP The PDK, Zenun Pajaziti, in a statement granting Telegrafis has said even this call from Trump's cabinet could end up as the calls of EU leaders.
The dialogue has long taken a different turn. The Serbian state, in addition to its failure to fulfil obligations, has hampered many Kosovo membership processes in the international organisation. Even this call from President Trump's cabinet could end up like those of other EU leaders”, he said.
Pajaziti has stressed that pressure on Belgrade should be firm for recognition of Kosovo.
“I think that demand and pressure on Belgrade should be made clear, and cut only for recognition of the Republic of Kosovo. Even in the continuation of further talks, no change is expected in Belgrade's official course”, he has stressed.
While Ahmeti Isufi of the AAK has said that Kosovo is ready for dialogue without conditions.
“Dialog must continue without conditioning, and Kosovo has been ready to dialogue but without conditions. Kosovo is also ready for equal-level dialogue as two states given the mutual recognition agreement, which guarantees stability in the region”, he has said.
On the other hand, head member of the Initiative, Fazli Hoxha, has said the entire political scene should be united in terms of dialogue.
Mr. Limaj has always been a unifying political scene, and is willing to make concrete decisions and actions that move forward, so that we can come to a conclusion on the delegation's issues, because we cannot be held hostage as a state. We should take the initiative, be in common. Let's all be united on the subject of dialogue and complete it. We can't go individually as a leadership, we can't connect it to an electronic aspect of”, he stressed.
According to him, it is up to the Government to close the delegation issue.
Even experts, as well as politics, let us be united to conclude the delegation issue that it is both constitutional and state duty, but both as Government we have responsibilities”, he said.
We remember that the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo had assessed that the request made by MPs from the opposition, the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje for the Law for Dialogue has been accepted, and that the state delegation, which was founded with the controversial Law, is not pre-priced with the Constitution and is not pre-priced within the form of governance and power division.
