The prism describes Albania in a recent UN report on the Business Climate. The US State Department highlights corrupt courts, lack of transparency and poor implementation of contracts.
The US State Department in its annual Doing Business Climate report in the world has continued to repeat harsh remarks for Albania, naming it the most corrupt state in Europe and the Balkans, as well as a country where it is difficult to develop economic character activities.
Citing foreign investors and other sources of information, The UN writes that problems remain corruption, especially in the judiciary, lack of transparency with public tenders, as well as low level of contract implementation.
The report cites judges' unjustified assets and justice reform, but despite their departure from the system, Albania remains problematic to do business.
In the published document, the State Department underscores that our country has all legal spaces needed to support foreign investment, but the overall implementation of it is at your satisfactory levels.
As other problems, property issues are listed, where property titles are considered an impossible mission because of manipulation of judicial decisions.
On the material, other reports, such as Transparency International that ranked Albania 99th in terms of perception of corruption, are cited. This makes our country the most corrupt not only in Europe but also in the Balkans.
As for suggestions given to investors, The UN estimates that engaging areas remain energy, tourism, water supply, road and railway industry, mining and information and telecommunications technology. /Time News/
