“Caricature” is calling foreign policy Skender Hyseni, the former Kosovo diplomat who led this dictatorship as the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) ruled with the country.
Despite only about two years of prolonging this government's mandate, the former foreign minister criticises Kosovo diplomacy for non-combatants.
The member of the LDK leadership, in an interview for Online Economy, expresses disappointment with Kosovo's representation in the international arena.
He even says that when he was a minister, ambassadors daily have received written instructions about positions to be held on certain issues.
“When I was the minister of ambassadors every day, they received detailed instructions about positions that should be kept on specific issues such as dialogue, membership and many other issues, namely, that is because the burst of diametrically different positions on the same issues of Kosovo diplomacy turns Kosovo's foreign policy into cartoons, and this is to regret”
With actions being made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hyseni says he gives the impression that he does not exist at all, but is acquitted by blaming Serbia.
“It is a pity if two ambassadors of the same state have different positions to assume about the fee or dialogue with Serbia, and that unfortunately is happening, so there is no systematic consensus diplomacy there is no operational diplomatic action plan, and often this foreign minister gives the impression that it doesn't exist at all, comforted by blaming Serbia, we would almost have to expect Serbia to do the job for <1> he said.
While counting on the good work done while he was minister, he claims that a very large number of recognitions have been achieved for a while and that Kosovo's membership in many foreign organisations has become.
All of this I regret to say, I am the founder of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo I am the founder of diplomatic missions so it makes me feel bad because it has not been easy to build an institution from zero, on the first day of my work as foreign minister all I have at my disposal has been a laptop and my self nothing other than no employees or office anything.
According to Hyseni, it is the time for the leaders of institutions to agree on the positions they should take on specific issues.
<x) NESTO and many more. I say that state leaders have to sit down and agree once and for all what attitudes they will take in the world on certain questions”.
Hyseni said Kosovo is at fault in the recognition plan. Therefore, according to him, Kosovo should adapt its diplomatic struggle to reports even with states that are indifferent and are not interested in developments in the Balkans.
He further says it is these countries that have to be targeted and should be explained that dialogue with Serbia has to do with relations between the two countries, rather than with establishing final status.
“We are sorry in the state recognition plan, there are more words that any recognition has been withdrawn, I am putting it on my fingernails because it is not familiar in international practices to attract recognition or recognition of a country, in international practices are known, freeze diplomatic relations and freeze any kind of communication relationship, but not recognition”.
