Kolasinac was labeled a hero after defending his fellow player, leaving the car to come out of his way to help Ozil and his wife, Amine.
The attackers were also armed with knives, which they reportedly used to break car windows.
Ozil was forced to drive the wrong side of the road to avoid them.
The footage of the incident has been continuously distributed on social networks, until everyone has been impressed by Kolasinac's willingness to fight.
