The Serbian Justice Ministry has handed over to Northern Macedonia the request for the extradition of former KLA member Tomor Morina has been confirmed to Tanjug news agency by this minister.
Morina was arrested last week at the Blaca border checkpoint, according to Interpol's arrest warrant. He in Serbia is wanted under suspicion that he committed war crimes against Serb civilians in Kosovo.
Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has said that law will be respected in this case, the alsat conveys.
Meanwhile, Periscopi has asked the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the case.
Jetir Zyberaj, adviser to Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, has said this minister is in constant contact with Macedonian authorities.
We are in constant contact with the highest Macedonian authorities. Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli is personally involved in this case”, Zyberaj has said in an answer to Periscope.
He has yet to say that Morina's extradition can't happen because the arrest is political.
“Extradition cannot happen because the arrest speech is political, as it all speaks, the arrests Serbia has issued to former UCK fighters. Mr. Morina will be released absolutely after legal procedures because it should clear the issue of signalling in the INTERPOLI system”, he said. /Periscope.
