Finland takes over EU chairmanship, visa safety

From yesterday, July 1st, by the end of this year, the European Union will be headed by Finland. Despite that, the likelihood is too small for liberalisation for Kosovo to be finalised over this period of time. That is how they consider connoisseurs of integration processes, who say Finland's mandate can also go without a visa decision, as liberalisation is not its priority.
But Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, has expressed optimism that this six-month month, where Finland will head the EU Presidency, will be promising for Kosovo. Hoxha, along with other institutional leaders, has been constantly blaming the EU for non-liberalisation.
