The flight crew has interrupted the departure and turned the plane into a platform by getting all the travelers off the plane, while the airline has tried to repair its caused defect.
The company's employed mechanics have arranged the defect and eventually the plane was launched on the same day by Stuttgart around 18:40 and arrived in Pristina at 20:24, with a total delay of 6 hours and 24 minutes.
Immediately the next day, on July 25th, Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority inspectors have conducted an inspection on the platform of foreign aircraft operators LZ-MVK from ALK Airlines at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari”.
During this inspection, inspectors have not ascertained any findings that would affect the safety of this aircraft.
The AAC says it is aware of the travellers' dissatisfaction with the situation created over the delay of this airline flight, which they have expressed regret, but at the same time they have informed all travelers that, according to legislation in effect, it may require compensation from the airline for the delay caused.
