The man who made Bill Clinton president dies.

Ross Perot, the billionaire from Texas who had been racing for president twice in 1992, and 1996, has died, according to the family spokesman. He was 89 years old.

Mr. Perot managed to make his fortune in the post-depression period by becoming one of the richest people in the United States as founder of the giant Electronic computer services. Date System Corporation.

In 1992, he became an independent candidate for president by challenging then-President George HW Bush and the current Democrat candidate, Bill Clinton.
