Following bomb attacks, Tunisia also bans public face coverage

The Sunnisian prime minister, Yousef Chahed, has banned the wearing of “niqab”, or full face coverage for women at public institutions in Tunisia. The decision came after a double suicide bombing that took place on June 27th, which left two people dead and seven injured, broadcast Periscope.

“Chad signed a government decree banning every person with a covered face of access to public institutions, administrations or other countries, and for security reasons”, an official source for Reuters news agency said on Friday.

Witnesses said that one of the bombers of June 27th was disguised in a “niqab”.

The attack was the third such incident within a week and came to the peak of the tourist season as Tunisia prepared for the autumn parliamentary elections.

Iraqi Islamic State and Levant (also known as I SIL or I The SIS took responsibility for the attacks.

In 2011 women were allowed to hold <x0hijab” and “niqabin” in Tunisia after a ten-year ban by secular presidents Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and Habib Bouguiba, who did not allow any form of Islamic subjection.

Some European, African, and Asian countries have issued complete or partial bans on clothing over security concerns and perceived interventions in human freedoms.

Such a debate takes place in Kosovo, where different groups have different positions in terms of allowing cover use when dealing with facial coverage.

Not even considering the reasons why cover in Kosovo can be banned, and the risks that can be reported, the legalist in Pristina's Grand Mosque, Shefqet Krasniqi, said on the “Debat Plus” at RTV Dukayni that “Burka” should be allowed.

Krasniqi has said that the stripper is allowed, then the stock should be allowed, writes Periscopi.

He also talked about the KMDLNJ statement.

If naked is allowed, let the burka also be allowed. Those KMDLNj, Z-Z-G-R-R-R-G, and what are the God of Guidance,” said, referring to the reaction of KMDLNJ, which asked to stop “Burka”, as they say it had nothing to do with religion.
