(7 years ago)Barcelona's footballers are left without cars, literally. That's because the sponsorship agreement between the AUDI giant and the blackugrana club has been cut off. A partnership that lasts from 2006 but is closed on June 30th. Bleugrana club players after returning from the Asian tour will have to return [...] cars.
The popular company complained that players do not use cars to go to the sports centre or participate in official events. The contract between Audi and Barcelona was renewed in 2015 for the figure of 2.5m euros in the season.
But the repeated violations of many players have led the company to cut off relations with blaugrans. One of the best known episodes is that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who, during his experience in Barcelona, went to work with his F50 Ferrari, thus violating the contract with Adud. After the deal ends, all cars received by the players will have to return to the legal owner by the end of the month.
