Through a media communiqué, it becomes known that with this institution, an additional $34 million of US dollars will be pledged by the United States, establishing the total amount of funds pledged by the US under the $19m agreement, while all funds will be managed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
All funds are destined for Kosovo's support in its path to self-restraint.
The terms of the agreement reinforce the principle that Kosovo's commitment to its development agenda, including through its budgetary priorities, is key to Kosovo's success.
U nAID continues to offer opportunities for both Kosovo institutions and people to work together in improving rule of law, boosting economic development and promoting regional stability.
From 1999 onward, USAID has invested in the name of the American people over $920m in supporting Kosovo's journey towards self-restraint.
