Agriculture ministry invests in Malisheva irrigation system

For the implementation of this project, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development has signed a consensus agreement with the Malisheva municipality, thus enabling the construction of the irrigation channel in the village of Banja of this municipality.
In this case, MBPHR Minister Dijana Zivic has indicated that so far this minister has managed to build irrigation channels and expand many existing systems through all of Kosovo's municipalities, and that these investments will continue to do so over and over again in the coming years.
The inclusion of new underwater surfaces is a priority for the ministry, and investments to regulate irrigation systems will continue to take place in the future”, Zivic said.
On the other hand, Ragip Begaj, chairman of the Malisheva municipality, has praised the project, saying such investments are necessary for development of agriculture in this municipality.
