Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Dijana Ziviq today hosted Austria's Ambassador to Pristina, Gernot Pfandler and Austrian Development Agency Director (ADA) Gunther Zimmer at the meeting.
Ziviq announced the ambassador regarding the MBPZHR's support programmes, as well as projects to be implemented this year.
The meeting has discussed the possibility of implementing concrete projects in the field of agriculture, such as organic production, supporting new farmers, opening new jobs and supporting rural development.
Ambassador Pfandler stressed the importance of the agriculture sector for economic development, and in this case offered support through expertise for advancing the agriculture sector in Kosovo.
Minister Zivic and Ambassador Pfandler expressed their common interest in encouraging agriculture development in order to improve living standards in Kosovo.
