But this 30-year-old nomad is fearless and determined to realize her long dream.
Baigalmaa Norjmaa is a 30-year adventure who began a 12,000km trip from Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, to London. It will take three years, it will involve 14 countries and temperatures up to -50 degrees.
“It's not hard for me,” she says. I'm a Mongol. I'm used to it with the harsh weather”
Baigalma is only three months on expedition and five of its original team members have already abandoned the tournament on the grounds that they have been injured, ill or even incapacitated.
Baigalmaa (Aaikal for her friends) has temporarily left the camp, leaving her younger brother, a police officer and 10 camels, only 50 miles [480 km] from the border.
