This hearing has been questioned by his lawyer. Shala has only answered some of his defender's questions and then exploited the right to defend with silence.
He has thus stressed that he has not recognized the late Hagi Pertesh and any other member of the Pertesh family, since he does not believe that he has dealt with the civilian population.
The Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act accuses Remzi Shala that in June 1998, along with several other KLA members, they have deprived Haxhi Pertesh of freedom, which several days later has been found dead in the vicinity of the road in the village of Dudhil.
Shala has initially stressed that she stands behind the statement issued in the Police on April 14, 2016, and on September 26, 2016.
