There was also an appeal to put aside politics: “Good morning to all, on this beautiful and Sunday day for our Tirana. I am very excited today as we decide how the city will continue. I want to call on all citizens today to come out and vote. I know there are parties that have political convictions, that have old resentments and unfinished markets, but these choices are for our city. These choices are for the city, for the gardens, for the grain, for the way the city is cleansed. So the overpoliticisation and the use of elections to settle the accounts that someone has with the past makes no sense to me. I'm happy to see there's a line around town to vote.
Veliaj also thanked rival candidate Arben Skarier of Democratic Obedience
I want to thank the next racer is a Tiranite boy, despite the belief that we have different, one thing unites us. Like him, like me guys have decided to grow up here. Let's have this town, take root here. These choices are about what unites us and the prosperity of the city. Today is a hot day so I'd like to invite citizens to see the continuation of the process find a suitable moment. ”
