US urges Kosovo to fight human trafficking

In this report, nine recommendations refer to the need for increased efficiency in prevention, combating human trafficking, and caring for trafficking victims.
According to the UN report, the Republic of Kosovo continues to rank at level two of the three fundamental levels, but the report takes into account the significant efforts of the Government of Kosovo.
Consequently, according to the Kosovo Republic report, there has been notable progress compared to last year's report and other preliminary reports.
Minister Mustafa has thanked international partners, especially the US, for continuing support in the field of combating human trafficking until it has pledged that in co-ordination with ministries and other state institutions, it will be engaged in meeting recommendations issued by the report.
