There is no milk, milk products, meat, or flour on their shelves, according to the Meidas.
As warned, tomorrow, July 1, 2019, no stores of food items, kiosks, or even drug ovens will work.
The closure of shops are especially hit by Serbs living in the northernmost municipalities of Mitrovica, the citizens of Zubin Potok and the Leposaviqi. They, to buy, ps. milk in the southern part of Mitrovica should travel about 20km, Belgrade press writes.
But according to them, Serbs in northern Kosovo live from reserves purchased in stores days ago.
However, according to Belgrade TV Prva “they hope the situation will improve”.
It is stressed that the decision to close shops has been taken at the collection of their private owners “because Pristina authorities in November last year have imposed a 100 per cent tax on Serbian products”, Koha.net reporting Belgrade media.
In a sign of solidarity with privateists, as has been warned, neither hotel facilities nor gas pumps will be provided, while remaining closed for at least two days, broadcast Radio Contact plus in Serbian language.
Also reportedly there are no trees or vegetables in the stores north of Mitrovica. There are trees and vegetables in the Bosniaks' Mehala, but Serbs say they don't buy at Albanians' stores for days and days, the radio stresses.
It recalls that days earlier the possibility of Belgrade setting up a lack of vital core articles for Serbs in the north was made to demonstrate Kosovo and its decisions as discrimination against the Serb citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
