In all, there are 12 European countries that are listed as Level 2, where the UN advises American citizens to be careful. While all other countries are Level 1, they are advised to take normal measures. At level three and four, there is none (except some areas in Russia).

Bosnia and Herzegovina Level 2; The US urges citizens to be cautious because of possible terrorism and mines hidden in different areas of the country since the war.

Germany Level 2 ] Increase care measures. Since 2015 there have been 13 terrorist attacks.

Serbia Level 2: The US urges Americans to take care of Serbia because of high crime rates, violence in co-operation with organised crime, including autobobe killings. In 2016 a Serb killed five people and injured 22 others at a café in Sitiste.

Italy, Level 2. Because of the high number of Western tourists, Italy may fall prey to terrorist attacks, as well as the Vatican and Rome have often received threats from I SIS

Ukraine Level 2; American citizens should be careful in Ukraine because of crime, civil unrest and demonstrations that take place during elections, as well as not go to Crime, where arbitrary arrests are carried out by pro-Russian forces; as well as conflicts in Doneck and Luhansk

Netherlands Level 2, U.S. advises citizens to take care of the Netherlands after in March 2019, a terrorist killed three people and attacked five others on a tram.

Britain Level 2 The U.S. requires caution because of possible terrorist attacks, as well as isolated attacks by dissidents in Northern Ireland. In 2017 there were several high-level attacks, such as bombs on the Manchester Arena, and the attack on the Ariana Grandez concert, which left 22 people dead. In June, a van attack and knives killed 8 people and injured 48 others. Both attacks were taken over by I SIS. In January, dissidents from the Irish Republican Army placed a car bomb outside a court in London, but there were no casualties.

Albania, Level 1- For all other countries, including Albania, is advised to take normal care. For Albania, it is suggested to avoid travel to Lazaras.

Moldova, Level 1) Counciled to be cautious in Transnistria, an area that has declared secession from Moldova and remains in conflict with the government.

For other Tier 1, US says there is no specific warning: Poland, Romania, Greece, Czechia, Portugal, Sweden, Hungary, Belarus, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Finland, Slovakia, Norway, Ireland, Croatia, Lithuania, northern Macedonia, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Malta, Iceland, Andora. /tch.
