The world's largest divorce agreement will become official this week between Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and his ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos.
A judge is expected to sign the document that transfers the Amazon's shares to 38 billion dollars worth of MacKKenzie Bezos. It is the most expensive divorce in history, leaving far behind the past that was worth 2.5 billion by Alex Wildenstein for Jocelyn Wildenstein in 1999, writes Periscope.
After that deal, MacKKenzie Bezos, a 49-year-old writer, will become the fourth richest woman in the world, and has promised to get rid of at least half of the property.
MacKenzie had married Jeff in 1993, a year before he started the Amazon company in his garage in Seattle.
Despite the loss of this amount, Jeff Bezos will remain the richest man in the world with $1 118 billion in wealth. /Periscope
