The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, after accepting a request submitted by Interpol, through which the extradition of suspect R.B., by Gjakova, from US state authorities, has filed a request to the Constitutional Court in Gjakova for the extent of the detention of defendants.
The same allegedly committed criminal acts “access or forced into prostitution” and “acquisition, possession, distribution or unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue”.
The request for extradition is granted that in 1998 R.B., has entered the U.S. and has stood illegally, and from January 1998 until September 2001, the same has allegedly helped his brother develop a prostitution and narcotics company at Fairbanks in Alaska.
The prosecutor of the case has considered that under the Law for Jurydic and International Co-operation in Criminal Affairs and on the basis of the extradition agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the US, conditions for extradition have been met, so it has applied for the appointment of a 40-day detention measure.
