Bahtiri confirmed that how the South Town, together with Kosovo institutions, will prevent Serbia's plan to create artificial humanitarian crisis in northern Kosovo, emptying shops and drugs from essential food items and medicines.
Serbia's plan to have a humanitarian crisis in Kosovo, but this has nothing to do with humanitarian crisis because Kosovo institutions are called for no humanitarian crisis. But, if they want to create such a thing, we will not allow that to happen, because government bodies, as well as the southern municipality, will contribute not to such things, because they are only political and do not have to do with humanitarian crises”, Bahtiri stressed about Telegrafi.
Bahtiri stressed that he will serve all citizens indiscriminately and will meet all citizens' demands in the four municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo that are in the north, so that there will be no humanitarian crisis.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who had said he would not stand back in the face of tendencies for destabilising.
The efforts by various acts, Serbian officials and businessmen in north Mitrovica co-ordinated with official Belgrade to present humanitarian catastrophe in this part of Kosovo are unacceptable and punishable. The evacuation of shops, where neither elementary items originating from Serbia are found, is the plan being prepared by specific people in the north, for which the Government of Kosovo is informed. Based on these information, it is taught that part of the organisation of this plan is Rados Petrovic, Goran Vladkovic, Bojan Jaksic Cojo, Slavisa Stanic, Radule Stevic. According to sources of Kosovo security mechanisms, this organisation will be assisted with logistics and other forms, even from the so-called organisation civilna Zastia in the north, which is led by Stevo Pavicevich. We will not stand back in the face of these trends for destabilisation and invite the mayors of municipalities in the north and the citizens not to succumb to these provocations”, Prime Minister Haradinaj had declared days earlier.
Meanwhile, Belgrade's plan envisions the emptying of all shops to testify that because of the 100 per cent tax on the import of Serbian products, supply has failed.
