Krasniqi participates in the inauguration of the Italian factory in MTI-built Business Park

Krasniqi said that opening this factory is good news for Kosovo, because it is proving that the Government of Kosovo -- namely, the Ministry of Trade and Industry -- is creating conditions for foreign investors.

“We are working hard to create the most favourable conditions, which through the Strategic Investment Law we have made even easier investment in Kosovo, because procedures have been simplified and timed out to obtain strategic investor status. For MTI, the launch of this factory is very important because it is affecting Kosovo's economic development and the opening of new jobs”, Krasniqi said.

The deputy minister thanked the Italian state for Kosovo's support, before and after the war.

“Italia is one of the countries that has helped Kosovo greatly in consolidating citizenship, and the opening of this factory shows that Italy continues to prove its friendship with Kosovo in an economic aspect as well as”.

Krasniqi said that anyone who today has Kosovo on his map to invest could count on a market that includes over 10 million people because Kosovo has built modern highways related to neighbouring states.

She also mentioned the young man, who, according to her, is very innovative and learn the work quickly.

Kosovo has a very innovative youth, learning the work very quickly, and they speak almost all English, which is a priority”.

The deputy minister said that the construction of the economic areas that MTI is making is evidence that conditions are being created for foreign and local businesses.

“The Ministry of Trade and Industry is creating conditions through physical infrastructure, such as the construction of the economic zones, which has also been established, and legal infrastructure, which has already been completed with the Strategic Investment Law”, Krasniqi said.
