Kosovo police unite forces with New York Police Academy

They've had a meeting with New York Police Committee James P. O'Neill, as well as visits to the Police Academy, various departments, Homeland Security (Dogans and Border Police), at the memorial museum.
This several-day visit is of particular importance and is aimed at continuing to advance inter-police co-operation between the two countries, as well as intensifying police relations with common interest.
As a result of official meetings and bilateral co-operation, today with 07.06.2019, the director of Qalaj and cometori O'Neill was signed a memorandum of co-operation, which is assessed as the first with Balkan countries.
By signing this memorandum are aimed at establishing better co-operation, in exchanging police information, in combating organised crime, trans-border crime, crime prevention, especially in complex forms of organised crime, crime with international elements and other criminal acts, including the exchange of better police practices.
On the occasion of signing this memorandum, the two countries praised the excellent relations of the two police officers in all police areas, as well as the need to advance co-operation further.
