Diplomatic sources told Voice of America that Germany, one of the weightiest countries in the European Union, is expected to seek to delay making the decision for the fall.
According to the practice, the German government will have to submit a report regarding its position on the decision to be made after the European Commission's recommendation is published. So far it doesn't turn out the government has taken such a step.
On the other hand, and weighty representatives in the German Parliament have also warned the postponement, motivating this with little time to assess the European Commission's report. According to all likelihood, the German Parliament will be expressed in half of September.
