Hoxhaj has thanked Cardinal Parrol for his visit to Kosovo, which is the first high-ranking by the Vatican. Likewise, Hoxhaj expressed gratitude for the support of the Holy See for Kosovo and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries through the establishment of diplomatic relations.
“Nice to meet with Vatican State Secretary Cardinal Pietro Paolin, today in Pristina. I thanked him for the visit to Kosovo, the first of such high levels, as well as for the support of the Holy Serlia for Kosovo, and the strengthening of our bilateral relations through the establishment of diplomatic relations”, Hoxhaj wrote after the meeting.
