Haradinaj made these comments on the 20th anniversary of the liberation of the Peja and Decani municipality, he has participated in the inauguration of “Square. Shkelzen Haradinaj”, the discovery of the September Hero of the Nation Major General Shkelzen Haradinaj and Obelisk of 183 martyrs from the Pec municipality.
In this case, Prime Minister Haradinaj said the particular greatness of this day did not only obelisk and September, but also the presence of people here.
And he wanted it during the war to be closer to Peja and Dukagjini fighters than to me and Daut. We when we talk about our way up to freedom don't forget the contribution. We're in Haxhi Zeka's Pec, we'll never forget. We know that to protect Kosovo's Pec Rugova has been impassable. We do not forget those who have protected Kosovo. I'm witnessing, 74 percent of Peja's infrastructure has been destroyed, hundreds killed. This is Peja's story, and so is the story of the whole of Dukagjin. We do not want freedom that isolates freedom, we isolate our people. We have sought our freedom but sought freedom to join other peoples, the world, NATO. We desire our freedom to be locked in the freedom of others. We've opened the highway with Northern Macedonia, where we've shown how we can connect. We are interested in deepening relations with the state of Montenegro for a willingness to solve any problems. We have to meet the European family. We're proud that as Dukagjii we've given the exam at the time of the war, Dukagjini didn't leave Drenica herself, he didn't leave Yashaw. We will never betray our friends and allies. There's a lot of work to do, but we deserve a ride. We're open for free trade, we never have Albania's fee anymore, it's street words. It's good to take that 5 euro away. We are interested in good neighborhoods even with Serbia. You have to write a framework agreement, it's not territory. What's left to be solved is the bilateral relationship. We do not expect to go to peace, but do not expect anyone to build peace at the expense of Kosovo”, he said.
Peja municipality Mayor Gazmend Muharzier said the memorial and obelisk are a duty to the town of Peja.
The X-rays of the Greens and the obelisk of the martyrs are not only a duty but an honor to the city of Pec. Kosovo institutions work honestly that the martyrs who fell to have a homeland with which to boast”, he said.
Decani Community Chairman Bashkim Ramosaj said September and obelisk point to freedom.
“Today we are together on a very special day. The Obilisk where the names of the martyrs are inscribed and the September of Shkelzen Haradinaj reminds us of the way we have come until June 16th 1999”, he said.
On behalf of fellow fighters, Guzim Osdren spoke, who said that Gryssen fell to never die.
Schkelzen was so quiet, so determined to achieve any battle. All Albanians felt torn to the heart with the loss of Skelzen, but are now proud of his work. The trigger has fallen to never die”, he said.
A word of the case has been held by former Croatian President Stipe Mesic.
Kosovo free, whether the people of Kosovo pay off the entire Albanian population”, he said.
