Albania's acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj declared today that 50 Albanian diplomats have left and transferred from office.
Staying in diplomatic service requires correct behavior and promotion, professional witnessing.
Albania deserves nothing less than meritocracy, professional office and quality service in diplomacy. Regarding this fundamental principle, I communicate that 80% of Albania's general consulates in the world will no longer be the same. They must be radically changed for structural reasons and for the need for increased services. They should be changed to the structure because the influx of the demands of Albanian citizens can no longer be met with laziness nor with daily routine inertia, nor with the arrogance of institutional superiority”, Cakaj said.
“In the government's next meeting over 50 per cent of Albania's diplomatic passports will be declared invalid”, the minister suggested. /tch/
