That far has written that racism and violence have no place in Kosovo.
Jahjaga's full delivery:
For the second time in just a week in Kosovo, a country that learns to respect human rights as the value of democracy and to empower rule of law, we saw a tremendous and extremely inhuman attack on a Roma woman.
I'm frustrated with video recordings of the attack on this woman and I'm deeply concerned about the values of our society. Above all, I am concerned about the individual's security in this society. Let us as a society fail to protect this woman, but even as a country, we are not offering the protection and security that is guaranteed by law!
Racism and violence have no place in Kosovo!
We need to cultivate empathy more fully in our society and punish violence severely!
