As of this morning, there has been a public interest in voting.
The vote has also been cast by Kosovo MP from the Serbian List, Igor Sibiu, who has said he expects the Serbian List to win in this election for mayor of the municipalities.
“I hope these choices will go the best way they could. All election centres are open based on information I have and no problem. As you are seeing, interest is high among citizens of North Mitrovica to exploit the right to vote and determine their future. What's more important is for everyone to do their job, so that elections can be passed in the best way possible, and that citizens can decide for themselves who can lead in the next period“, he said.
