The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo explains the public opinion that today's statements by Kosovo Parliamentary MP Milaim Zeka, that if “ ... three witnesses testify that the prosecutor, Afrim Shefkiu, has declassified the three people who charged MP Zeka by the order of President Thaci”, are false statements, and with a tendency to intervene in the justice system.
The deputy Zeka's efforts were launched immediately after the establishment of the indictment by the Special Prosecutor against him, with the same case, the prosecutor Shefkiu had threatened him, which the State Prosecutor has opened up for.
The Special Prosecutor explains that the indictment against the MP, Milaim Zeka, has been established on the basis of material evidence that confirms his incriminating actions in connection with criminal acts that are placed on him.
The State Attorney is independent, impartial and built on constitutional and legal principles and is not influenced by such statements, unstable and untrue.
